Otsuka Museum of Art: Naruto, Tokushima (Visited: December 2003)

This is the orthodox fake art museum in Naruto, Tokushima. What does the “orthodox fake” museum mean? All exhibits in this museum are reproductions on porcelain plates. You shouldn’t look down on them because they display imitations. The quality of each work is extremely high. I’ve traveled North America and Europe to appreciate the masterpieces of painting like Mona Lisa in the Louvre, Vermeer’s Woman with a Water Jug in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, and so on. Otsuka Museum shows us porcelain paintings that are exactly like the real one. Additionally, you can enjoy almost one thousand of the world’s most famous paintings in just one place without the infection risk of COVID-19 because of the huge exhibition rooms. The entrance fee is three thousand yen per person. The price is expensive, but it has value and you can spend all day in the museum if you have time.
Anyway, please check their homepage. https//o-museum.or.jp/publics/translation/en/
