About me

I was raised in Chiba and graduated from the Faculty of Science, Hokkaido University, in 1993. Then I started working as a researcher at Asahi Glass Co. Research and Development Center, Yokohama. I came across a life-changing book, Roadside Japan, written by Kyoichi Tsuzuki, 1997. I really wanted to visit the places that were introduced in this coffee-table reference and planned to explore the weird hidden spots by myself. So, I started wandering around all over Japan on my Yamaha XJR1300 or in my old rotary sports car, Mazda RX-7.
